Just get in touch! We are happy to put a provisional booking into the diary for you which gives you 7 days to have a good chat and get in touch with those really important friends and family members to check that they can attend.

Orangery Weddings – A deposit of £1250 is required, with 2 further payments 12 and 6 months prior to the wedding.

Intimate Weddings – A deposit of 33% is required, with the balance due 90 days prior to your arrival.

Elopement Weddings – A deposit of 33% is required, with the balance due 30 days prior to your arrival.

You never know what’s round the corner! We want to be sure that you have everything covered, from a storm preventing you getting to us in winter, to any of your suppliers being unable to attend, for whatever reason.

Yes, we provide an on the day wedding co-ordinator for all Orangery Weddings from 10am to close. We do not provide a wedding co-ordinator for DIY Intimate Weddings. Our Team will be on hand for your Elopement. However, all our team are happy to help with planning your wedding and making your day a special one, holding your hand through the process of making things work brilliantly for you here at AH, and we can help make suggestions for external suppliers for you get in touch with directly too.

Elopement Weddings – Make your own Breakfasts x 2, Picnic Box, Grazing Boxes and BBQ Hut Wedding Feast are all provided for you, just bring any snacks you can’t live without and your drinks.

Orangery & Intimate Weddings – Food is not included in your package. We can offer Afternoon Tea, Grazing Tables and Buffets in house, and we have fabulous suppliers that we recommend, for anything else, but if you have a favourite supplier, please just ask us, they will need to agree to the onsite rules, and have suitable public liability insurances. Please do not book your caterer until they have been agreed in writing by us.

Drinks are not included. Our fabulous bar provider will be on hand with either a pay or prepaid bar, with options for a tuktuk, pony trailer bar, and inside bar.  The choices are yours!

Yes, but we can provide recommendations! And our local Perth & Crieff registry offices have just lovely staff too, who can come to Alexander House for your wedding. Remember that you need approximately 6 weeks for all the paperwork to be processed.

Yes, your guests are able to book accommodation that you have not booked already with us directly, you will be sent a special link to forward on to your guests, with bookings on a first come first served basis. Alternatively, should you wish to book one of our packages that includes all the accommodation, we have a special couples area where you can allocate bedrooms and pricing to bedrooms, and your guests can pay for their rooms directly. Any payments taken through the couples booking area, are simply deducted from your final balance.

There is a downstairs room that can be set up as a comfortable single or a games room as required, with the downstairs shower room just across the corridor. This bedroom is not fully accessible, but is very comfortable for those who have mobility issues and cannot use the stairs. The whole of the downstairs of Alexander House, and The Orangery, are wheelchair accessible.

Your package will detail the accommodation included and room layouts can be found for Orangery Packages here. Elopement Weddings with dogs and children can be in Juniper, or The Annexe, adults only in Bramble and Heather.

Weddings require planning permission, and these stipulations form part of the requirements of our planning permission. Any questions please ask your wedding planner.

Not on the actual day of the Celebration, for safety reasons, but guests staying onsite are welcome to use these facilities at other times.

There are lots of local accommodation options for all budgets and styles, from lovely AirBnBs, Caravan Park Accommodation to 5* Gleneagles Hotel, all within a 3 mile radius.

For your Campervans & Motorhomes (no tents or caravans) – we can provide camper van parking with power and water (no Elsan point, you must dispose of black waste offsite) for a small overnight charge.

Yes, there is parking onsite for your wedding guests, and house guests.

Absolutely. There are 2 x Char.gy 6.9kw chargers on the wall of The Orangery, opposite the main house. You are welcome to plug in here. You will need the Char.gy app which you can download for both Apple and Android.

Yes, you’ll find details on our Suppliers List. MJT and Luxe Private Hire are happy to come up the house, other taxi firms preferring to drop off at the edge of the tarmac leading onto our driveway. Please, please ensure that you, and your guests book well in advance, as there is a scarcity of Taxis in our area.

Your Ceremony can be held on the front lawns, outside on the Orangery patio or indoors in The Orangery.

We include round tables or trestle tables, or a mixture of both, with cross back chairs.

Our bar partner will provide either a pay or prepaid bar, the choice is yours!  They also have a fabulous tuktuk, pony trailer bar and can do a wonderful selection of cocktails too.  The easy way to have your drinks organised!

Your Ceremony can be held on the deck at Willow, in the woods by Juniper (if you have booked Juniper), or for bad/colder weather you’ll have the back up option of our gorgeous Orangery. We provide cross back chairs for your choice of location, and our staff will be your witnesses if required.

The BBQ Hut seats up to 4 comfortably, 6 at a squish. Outdoor seating is also available at Willow.

Alexander House will provide you breakfast packs (enough for 2 days), a stunning grazing box for your arrival supper, picnic lunch for whilst you’re getting ready, and your Wedding Feast ready for you to cook on the open fire in Willow. Please remember to bring any snacks and your drinks.
