Perfect for every intimate wedding, at Round or Trestle Tables, whether you want an informal feel, or the fairy tale feel, The Orangery is light, bright and comfortable, with a vast ceiling roof lantern to bring in the light during the day, and to see the stars at night!

There’s both traditional and contemporary lighting options, PA & speaker system, and the perfect corner for a 3 piece band too.

You’ll also find a corner bar,  with your choice of pay or prepaid bar.

How you dine, formal, or more informal is entirely up to you. We provide tables, chairs and a selection of items you are welcome to borrow for every table, depending on your style, after all this is your wedding, not ours!

In fabulous weather, you are welcome to hold your ceremony on the front lawns or the Orangery Terrace, making the most of the magnificent views. The view is simply the perfect frame for your ceremony and photos. Then wander the lawns with a celebratory drink and nibbles in hand.

If the weather closes in, or if it’s a bit breezy, your ceremony can be held warm and cosy inside.

The perfect way for a wedding to be – choose your favourite drinks to be stocked at the bar, all in readiness for you, pay bar or prepaid, the choice is yours, & choose your own food. We welcome all suppliers here at Alexander House (as long as they have suitable insurances of course!).

We have some fabulous suggestions for you too of course, but we know that food is a personal thing, one man’s feast is another’s famine…..

Included in all Orangery Wedding pricing is the Main House accommodation, comprising the master suite, 5 further ensuite bedrooms, 2 loft bedrooms sharing a bathroom. Indoor and outdoor hot tubs, summer swimming pool (April to October), winter ice bath. Games room & simply stunning grounds for your photos. The Annexe offers a further 2 bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen/breakfast/living room.

All in all the main house offers super family friendly accommodation for up to 24 adults and 4 wee ones. 4 doggies are also thoroughly welcome!

The gorgeous and quirky onsite Glamping offers additional fabulous guest accommodation with a difference, perfect for the more adventurous in your party.
