Alexander House truly is a family run business, owned by the Lewis family, and run by our fabulous team of staff, we are all delighted to welcome you to our Perthshire paradise.

The housekeeping team are never too far away to help make your stay a relaxing and enjoyable one – nothing is too much trouble for them. Just ask!

OWNERS

The Lewis family – John, Jo, Alex, Ollie (and Wispa the dog) – welcome you to Alexander House, built in 2009 on the site of an old ruined farmstead, which we couldn’t save, much as we would have loved to. Alexander House was designed by leading architect Robert Adam, to fit into the landscape, as if it had been there for hundreds of years. Wishing you a fabulous stay in our holiday home and unique glamping. We hope it and the simply amazing views, work their magic on you, as they do us – to leave you refreshed, relaxed and ready to return to the fray after a stay at Alexander House, whether it be just a week, a weekend or just joining us for a few hours as a guest at one of our wonderful weddings. We also own a share in the farm down the hill, and have done since Jo turned 21, and we are sure you’ll be captivated by the most recent additions to the AH fields, – Q (for Cute) & M (for Morag), Miss Moneypenny (Imogen) & Vesper (Nell) our very friendly rescue red and black & cream rescue highland cows.

Oana, Nicu, Ana, Lesley and Charlie, keep the whole place looking spotless, Mandy makes sure your weddings run without a hitch, and in the background Mike No 1 keeps us all on track with his bookkeeping.

PRIVATE CHEFS & CATERING EXTRAORDINARE

In the main house Victoria and her Mum Morag organise the best and most luxurious Afternoon/High Teas we have ever had, and some simply stunning Amazing Grazing Tables too, for both Hen Parties and Weddings & in boxes delivered to our Glamping, or they can arrange you a yummy 2 or 3 course meal. We also have a curated selection of fabulous local private chefs for you to contact, who can literally provide every possible style of cooking, from simple to a 10 course tasting menu, all in your very own kitchen! And the AH team will cook up a fantastic Full Scottish Brunch!

In The Orangery, our bar partners, run a fantastic bar, Prosecco Truck and Pony Trailer, with a selection of local caterers thoroughly welcome to bring the best food Perthshire has to offer to your wedding too.

PAMPERING & ACTIVITES

Lesley and her team will bring the Spa & Pampering to you, and Ian at Do It Outdoors will bring you a spot of Highland Games, Axe Throwing, Archery or Bushcraft too, & Butlers of all sorts are welcome to grace the grounds too…..

We are quite spoilt for choice, as you will be for your Glamping, Hen Do, Holiday or Wedding or stay too!
