No 1 – Think about Transport to your venue
Alexander House is just 10 minutes drive from Gleneagles train station, which is on the fast line direct from London Kings Cross via much of the Midlands and Northern England. Ask your Guests to hop on a train, and share minivans up to Alexander House. And for guests staying locally? Why not arrange to share a minivan?
No 2 – Think about your honeymoon

No 3 – Think about your catering impact
Think about those menus and choose local and seasonal, after all, that’s what’s going to be most tasty anyway. And think about the wedding favours – make sure they are in recyclable wrapping, and are useful and fun, or edible! Our top tip is to have a ticket for a drink at the bar, for your favours.
No 4 – What about your gift list?
Choose sustainably, or why not ask for your guests to contribute to the cost of your venue, by buying a gift voucher, instead of more stuff, much of which we’ve already got by the time we get married now!

No 5 – Dresses, kilts and things….
There’s some amazing vintage dress shops online, https://www.realgreendress.com or check out Blushing Brides or your local charity shops, and find your local seamstress to make your dream dress truly bespoke & one of a kind! Beg, borrow (after all that’s your ‘borrowed’ covered!) & don’t be afraid of colour, this is your wedding, your way!
